Bimini, my home away from home

From the moment I stepped foot onto this gorgeous island I was mesmerized. Though I had been to the Bahamas before (Nassau), Bimini gave me a different perspective on the island life.

Just a short 15-minute plane ride and I was in paradise. I was welcomed immediately with such kindness and felt as if this was my home away from home.

Resorts World Bimini is the place to go when on this island. With ten different pools, a casino, and many places to dine along with having the beach right down the street, there’s always something to do.

When we arrived at the resort, they greeted us with a small cocktail party with music and drinks.

We checked in and headed up to our room that was simply astonishing. From the bathroom to the insane view of the water right from the bed.

As nice as the hotel room was though, we were starving so we headed down to the sushi bar downstairs where we were treated with great service.

One of the great things about Bimini is you’re able to see the sunset on the beach and we were able to catch it right as it was about to go down.

One of my favorite things in the world is a beautiful sunset and Bimini gave that to me. As the sun was setting and the moon was rising we headed down to Luna Beach for dinner and although it was night, the beach was illuminated by blue lights letting us see its beauty.

Table ready at Luna Beach for Housewifes of New Jersey that happened to be filming an episode when we went there!

We dined and had some piña coladas because what’s an island trip without one? As the night was coming to a close we headed up to our room and watched a movie. The next morning, we had breakfast with a gorgeous view and then headed up to the infinity pool on the 5th floor.

We were taking advantage of every minute we had before we had to go but unfortunately that time came. Although we were only in Bimini for 24 hours, it felt longer.

I plan on coming back and bringing my friends for a girl’s trip. If you’re planning on going to the Bahamas, choose Bimini, it’s a short 15-minute plane ride away.

Happy on board Bahamasair flight
