Blue for Child Abuse Prevention Month

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time for communities to work together to support families and prevent the maltreatment of children. Leading up to this month, the Children’s Services Council of Broward County along with its community partners launched the annual Broward
AWARE! Campaign, a series of community events and legislative engagement focused on promoting the safety of our children.

“All children deserve to live in safe and nurturing communities. The Children’s Services Council is committed to supporting Broward’s children and families so that they can achieve their full potential. The annual Broward AWARE! Campaign is an opportunity for local governments to reaffirm their commitment
to preventing child abuse and our residents to access important resources. This year, we are especially proud to be partnering with the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in lighting up Broward blue for all to see,” said Cindy Arenberg Seltzer, President and CEO of the Children’s Services Council of
Broward County.

Beginning Monday, April 10 through Friday, April 14 from 8-9 PM, the Guitar Hotel at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood will light up blue in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month, leading up to the Broward AWARE!
