Helping Families of Fallen Heroes

The Florida Tour de Force was not able to ride this year to support the families of officers killed in the line of duty in Florida during 2019 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. That didn’t stop some riders of all skill levels from riding in our first DIY (Do It Yourself) Ride in May 2020 and it didn’t stop our friends and partners at State Farm Insurance from donating to Florida Tour de Force.

Spearheaded by State Farm agent Manny Miranda, himself a fellow Tour de Force rider, he has organized our friends at State Farm Insurance to raise over $15,000 dollars to go to the families of law enforcement officers in the State of Florida. Those officers gave the ultimate sacrifice in the performance of their duties to protect and serve.

In addition to this fundraising drive, State Farm also provided an additional $1,550 grant to the Florida Tour de Force in their unending support of our cause.

The following 26 State Farm agents across Florida generously donated to the Florida Tour de Force:
