Miami Embraces Its Unique Beat with the Release of the Official FIFA World Cup 26™ Miami Sonic ID

As Miami gears up for the FIFA World Cup 26™, the city proudly presents its Official FIFA World Cup 26™ Miami Sonic ID. This distinctive musical creation embodies the vibrant spirit and cultural richness of Miami. This unique sonic representation is part of a broader initiative that celebrates each of the 16 Host Cities through their own custom Sonic IDs.

Grammy award-winning producer, Mr. Nais Gai (@mr_naisgai), known for his innovative musical style, was selected to create the Miami Sonic ID. His extensive work across various genres made him the perfect artist to capture Miami’s eclectic mix of sounds, from pulsating Latin rhythms to contemporary electronic beats. This auditory emblem aims to resonate with both locals and visitors, fostering a sense of community and excitement as Miami prepares to host the FIFA World Cup 26™.

“Creating the Miami Sonic ID was a unique opportunity to represent my Latinos and celebrate the city’s incredible energy and diversity through music,” said Mr. Nais Gai. “This project allowed me to channel the essence of Miami into a melody that I hope will inspire and energize everyone during the FIFA World Cup 26™.”

Janelle Prieto, the Miami Host Committee’s Chief Marketing and Community Officer, added, “The Miami Sonic ID is more than just a musical note; it’s a cultural statement. It showcases our vibrant community and the electric atmosphere that FIFA fans can expect when they visit our city for the tournament.”

Each Host City selected a producer to remix the tournament’s theme, infusing it with the distinct rhythm, vibe, and cultural essence of their Host City. The result is an anthology that showcases the diversity and creativity of the host regions, offering fans a unique auditory journey through the tournament’s 16 locations.

The Sonic ID will be used online and at in-person events throughout the build-up to the tournament, as well as in-stadium and at Miami’s FIFA Fan Festival. This marks a significant moment in the build-up to the FIFA World Cup 26™, illustrating FIFA’s commitment to celebrating the unique identities of its host cities. Miami’s Sonic ID not only amplifies the local culture but also aligns with FIFA’s mission to unite global audiences through the universal language of music.

Fans can stream, download and enjoy the Miami Sonic ID on popular music platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music, and watch the visually engaging visualizer on YouTube.
