Over 59,000 Meals to Families

Turning caring into doing with the largest food bank in Florida. In one week, thirty South Florida State Farm agents raised funds to help Feeding South Florida® serve over 59,000 meals to families in need throughout Broward and Miami-Dade counties.

Feeding South Florida®, the leading domestic hunger-relief organization in South Florida, regularly serves over 706,000 individuals who are food insecure in the region. Since COVID-19 began, there has been a 600% increase in requests for food assistance.  Feeding South Florida® has responded with over 400 drive-thru food distributions, home delivery of meals for older adults, grab ‘n go meals at school sites for children and families, and regular service to its network of partner agencies.
