Unique cultural celebration planned for Hispanic Women of Distinction August 30th

The 23rd annual Hispanic Women of Distinction Charity luncheon to be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Conference Center has an EARLY SELL-OUT  paying tribute to Latina professionals who are strengthening the social fabric of this country and making inroads in the leadership pipeline for a growing diverse America.
This milestone celebration honors Latinas, both past and present, who have pioneered the ways that enabled others to achieve their goals in “Community, Culture and Charity,” the theme of the annual event.

What these women have in common is the combination of their American entrepreneurship intertwined with their Latina cultural traditions and values.  Their commitment to home, family and heritage is what makes each of them so very special, and this luncheon so unique.
Presented by Latina Style Magazine, the nation’s leader in Hispanic women business in partnership with Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Latin Business Today and co-sponsored by Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and Visit Lauderdale as well as a host of other corporate and media partners, the Hispanic Women of Distinction celebration has become one of the nation’s largest celebrations of  Latinas.
Guests will enjoy a complimentary “motito” on arrival from Tito’s Handmade Vodka, greeted by the colorful Mariachis Voces de America, a stroll through the bilingual business expo and a chance to shop at a fantastic silent auction beginning at 11 am.   This year the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation is the charity benefiting from the auction and raffle sales.   Each guest will also receive a fantastic chair and table gift.
At noon, the ballroom doors open with the annual parade of the former honorees welcoming the 2024 Hispanic Women of Distinction to their special sisterhood.   Mistress of ceremonies, Myriam Masihy, of NBC6/Telemundo will introduce the 2024 honorees on stage, escorted by former Hispanic Women of Distinction.
During a fantastic lunch, a special performance of the Brazilian Voices will entertain the guests. Brazilian Voices, an acclaimed non-profit female vocal group, proudly marks 22 years of musical excellence. With a rich international performance history, the group has been a source of inspiration in South Florida, gracing theaters, universities, and schools. They also bring the soothing sounds of Bossa Nova to hospitals, Cancer Centers, schools for children with disabilities, and elderly assisted living facilities.”
