La Familia de Broward Una herramienta útil para las necesidades de las familias hispanas

La noche del viernes 17 de abril pasado el tango argentino invadió y deleitó a los asistentes del Teatro Amaturo en el Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Ellos fueron a escuchar: “La Magia del Tango”, un concierto del maestro Guillermo Petri al piano y orquesta dirigida por Aníbal Berraute.
Fueron dos horas maravillosas de danza, música y hasta un poco de mimo. En más de una ocasión el show provocó una ovación de pie. Se destacó la armonía de Petri en el piano y el conductor Aníbal Berraute.
Aún para aquellos no familiarizados con el repertorio, los temas “Un sueño imposible” y “A mi manera” seguramente resonaron en su memoria, esta vez interprestados por la espléndida orquesta. Al terminar la emotiva noche (en la cual Petri mostró una foto de su nieta envuelta en la bandera argentina), tanto el maestro como los miembros de la orquesta se mezclaron con la audiencia, que disfrutó al másximo de esta hermosa ocasión.

Guillermo Petri, Gran Maestro, hosted a lovely evening of music, dance, and even a bit of mime-like comedy at the Amaturo Theatre, Friday April 17th, 2015. The two hour show brought the audience to its feet on more than one occasion and one of the highlights was the dueling piano’s of Petri and Conductor Anibal Berraute. For those not familiar with the repertoire of songs, one couldn’t help but recognize snippets of Impossible Dream, My Way and more. To close the evening, Petri cast a large screen photo of a young girl draped in the Argentinian Flag, which this writer understood to be a granddaughter. Afterwards, the Composer along with Conductor Berraute and members of the show then mingled with the audience.
