Miami, FL – January 17, 2024 – State Farm, furthering its commitment to affordable housing and community revitalization in Miami-Dade County, has increased its grant funding to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami to $10,000. As metro Miami continues to rank among the highest-cost housing market in the country, the work of Miami Habitat to help low-income families achieve affordable home ownership is more crucial than ever. Since 2009, State Farm has been committed to Habitat for Humanity’s mission, and this $10,000 award helps support the construction of an affordable home that will be purchased by a family in the Miami Habitat program.

“We are grateful that State Farm continues to be one of our most committed partners, one of the entities without whom our mission would be impossible to accomplish. For over 10 years, not only have they supported us financially, but State Farm agents are always eager to roll up their sleeves on our construction sites to help us get these homes to the finish line”, said Mario Artecona, CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami.

“State Farm continues to be a proud supporter of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami and their important mission of building strong and safe neighborhoods throughout Miami-Dade County” stated Jose Soto, State Farm Corporate Responsibility Analyst. “As house prices continue to rise, we recognize the importance of ongoing investment in affordable housing in our community.”
