Local Seniors to be Honored at 39th Annual Dr. Nan S. Hutchison Broward Senior Hall of Fame Breakfast

In recognition of May as Older Americans Month, the Area Agency on Aging of Broward County (AAABC) will honor exceptional Broward senior volunteers, 60 and older, for their contributions to the community at the 39th Annual Dr. Nan S. Hutchison Broward Senior Hall of Fame Breakfast on Thursday, May 25 starting at 9 a.m. at the Renaissance Fort Lauderdale West Hotel located at 1230 South Pine Island Road in Plantation.

The 2023 Hall of Fame Election Committee, led by Broward County Mayor Lamar P. Fisher, selected 10 local candidates for induction: Dr. Denise St. Patrick Bell, Debby Eisinger, Aurelio Fernandez, Janet Groman, Renee Herman, Diane Lade, Edythe Lamb, Marlene Maragh-Williams, Elaine Schwartz and Dr. Diane K. Wilen.

“We warmly invite the public to join us in celebrating these hardworking and passionate volunteers who have made giving back a priority,” said Charlotte Mather-Taylor, CEO of AAABC. “Their years of dedication and service exemplify volunteerism and have brought untold benefits to our community.”
