Please join us in honor of Christine Englehardt who tragically lost her life this week. Residents of Miami Beach stand with the family of Christine Englehardt and vow for justice and these crimes to come to an end.
We’d like to invite everyone to a vigil at the Albion Hotel, located at 1650 James Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139, in her honor at 5 PM this Friday, March 26, 2021.
South Florida People of Color Organization and Miami Beach City Officials will be in attendance. There will be a special performance by Maryel Epps.
We want to show our solidarity to evoke change and justice.
About Christine Englehardt:
She lost her life due to two monsters that chose to drug her, rape her, rob her, and leave her lifeless in her bed. The footage from her hotel shows she could barely walk to her room and also shows the length of time before these murders left her, knowing that she was in dire need, if not already dead. Christine Englehardt came to The Magic City to escape the craziness of the world and sadly will not live to tell a happy story.
We hope local news comes to support as well as local politicians and residents. We cannot allow her death to be in vain. We must show that this type of behavior will cease to happen in Miami Beach. Ultimately these atrocities tarnish Miami’s image and we cannot continue to allow this to happen
She is someone’s daughter and best friend. This can also happen to any of us near and dear.
