The Office of Economic and Small Business Development (OESBD) will host a Spanish-language version of its popular “Doing Business with Broward County” workshop as an online webinar on Thursday, September 24th from 10 to 11:30AM. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged for this free public educational event, part of the OESBD business development workshop series.
This virtual session is designed for business owners and entrepreneurs interested in exploring opportunities with Broward County and may not know where to begin. Participants will get tips and insights about how to successfully navigate County government processes, such as vendor registration and Broward’s small business programs.
“Our office has made progress in our efforts to continuously respond to the needs of the entire business community, which has been made more critical during the COVID-19 pandemic when many businesses are being met with tough decisions,” said OESBD Director Sandy-Michael McDonald. “This new Spanish-language webinar is the result of community feedback and we hope it will provide attendees with the basic information needed to position their businesses to maximize the County’s available opportunities.”
Presented by Maribel Feliciano, OESBD Assistant Director, this free webinar will address multiple topics for success including eligibility requirements for certification. The session will be conducted entirely in Spanish. Online registration is now open.
