Farm Share Partners with National Association of Letter Carriers for Nation’s Largest Food Drive

Farm Share, one of Florida’s leading food nonprofits and the state’s largest independent food bank, is partnering with the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) to hold their annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive. This largest food distribution event in the nation will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022. Stamp Out Hunger is an effort between the NALC and food banks nationwide to fight food insecurity and give the public an opportunity to become involved from home.

The annual “Stamp Out Hunger” Food Drive is the first to be held after a 2-year hiatus due to the pandemic. As in years past, the NALC has chosen Farm Share as their partnering food bank in Florida. Statewide donations gathered will go to Farm Share to benefit Florida’s families in need.

Economic inflation has a lasting effect on hard-working families in Florida. Families of four with a household income of $60K to $70K are currently struggling to pay bills and feed their children after paying for gas to get to work, rent or mortgage payments, insurance for their cars and house, utilities for their home and household staples like toiletries and hygiene products. During these dark times, over 3.6 million Floridians will benefit from the Stamp Out Hunger food drive.
